These Terms and Conditions (“T&Cs”) govern the use of promotional vouchers issued as part of the eBet VodaPay Voucher Promotion (“Promotion”). By redeeming or using a voucher, you agree to be bound by these T&Cs and eBet’s General Terms and Conditions.


1. Eligibility

1.1. This Promotion is open to registered eBet customers who are 18 years of age or older and legally permitted to participate in gambling activities in South Africa.

1.2. Customers must have a verified eBet account.

1.3. eBet reserves the right to refuse participation where eligibility requirements are not met.


2. Voucher Distribution

2.1. Vouchers are distributed by VodaPay in partnership with eBet.

2.2. Voucher denominations include:

  • R50
  • R100
  • R150
  • R250
  • R500

2.3. Each voucher contains a unique code and may only be redeemed once. Voucher will expire after 3 years if not claimed.

2.4. Vouchers are non-transferable, non-refundable, and may not be exchanged for cash.

2.5. eBet reserves the right to cancel any voucher that is suspected of being duplicated, compromised, or misused.

2.6. Only one VodaPay voucher may be active on an account at any given time. Customers may not redeem or use multiple vouchers simultaneously. A new voucher may only be redeemed once the previous voucher has been fully wagered and converted or forfeited.


3. How to Redeem a Voucher

3.1. To redeem a voucher, customers must:

  • Log in to their eBet account (or register if new);
  • Navigate to the voucher redemption section;
  • Enter the unique voucher code; and
  • Submit the code for validation.

3.2. Once successfully redeemed, the voucher value will be credited to the customer’s promotional wallet.

3.3. Voucher funds will not be credited to the real-money balance until all requirements have been met.


4. Promotional Wallet

4.1. Voucher funds are credited to a promotional wallet and are separate from real-money funds.

4.2. Funds in the promotional wallet:

  • Are not withdrawable;
  • May only be used for wagering on casino games;
  • Are subject to wagering requirements.

4.3. Promotional wallet funds remain subject to these T&Cs until converted.


5. Wagering Requirement (1x Playthrough)

5.1. All voucher funds are subject to a 1x wagering requirement.

5.2. This means that the full voucher amount must be wagered at least once before conversion or withdrawal is permitted.

Example:

If a customer redeems a R250 voucher, they must place qualifying bets totalling R250 before the wagering requirement is fulfilled.

5.3. Only qualifying bets contribute towards wagering requirements.

5.4. The following do not contribute towards wagering:

  • Cancelled or voided bets;
  • Cashed-out bets;
  • Bets placed using other bonuses;
  • Bets deemed irregular or abusive.

5.5. eBet reserves the right to specify minimum odds, markets, and qualifying bet types.


6. Bonus and Promotion Restrictions

6.1. While voucher funds are active, customers may not activate or participate in other promotions or bonuses.

6.2. Bonus stacking is strictly prohibited.

6.3. Once voucher wagering is completed and funds are converted, standard bonuses become available again.


7. Conversion to Real Balance

7.1. After completing the wagering requirement, customers must request conversion of their promotional balance through their account profile.

7.2. Conversion requests are subject to manual review and approval by eBet.

7.3. eBet reserves the right to decline conversion where suspicious, irregular, or abusive activity is detected.

7.4. Conversion approval is subject to:

  • Completion of wagering requirements;
  • Successful account verification;
  • Compliance with AML and responsible gaming policies.

7.5. Conversion processing times may vary and are not guaranteed.


8. Verification (KYC) and Compliance

8.1. Customers may be required to complete identity and banking verification before conversion or withdrawal.

8.2. eBet reserves the right to request additional documentation at any stage.

8.3. Failure to complete verification may result in forfeiture of promotional funds.


9. Withdrawals

9.1. Once converted to real balance, funds are subject to eBet’s standard withdrawal rules.

9.2. Withdrawal limits, payment methods, and processing times apply in accordance with eBet’s General Terms and Conditions.

9.3. eBet reserves the right to withhold withdrawals pending compliance checks.


10. Time Limits and Expiry

10.1. Vouchers must be redeemed within the validity period specified at issuance.

10.2. Redeemed voucher funds must be wagered within [14] days unless otherwise stated.

10.3. Unused or expired voucher funds may be forfeited without notice.


11. Fair Use and Abuse Prevention

11.1. Any form of abuse, manipulation, or exploitation of this Promotion is prohibited.

11.2. Prohibited activities include, but are not limited to:

  • Multiple account creation;
  • Collusion;
  • Arbitrage betting;
  • Use of automated systems;
  • Circumventing wagering requirements.

11.3. eBet reserves the right to suspend, restrict, or close accounts involved in abuse.


12. Fraud and Money Laundering Prevention

12.1. eBet operates strict anti-money laundering (AML) procedures.

12.2. All voucher activity is monitored.

12.3. Suspicious activity may be reported to relevant authorities.

12.4. Accounts may be suspended pending investigation.


13. Limitation of Liability

13.1. eBet shall not be liable for losses resulting from:

  • Technical failures;
  • System outages;
  • Voucher distribution errors;
  • Third-party service interruptions.

13.2. eBet’s maximum liability shall not exceed the value of the redeemed voucher.


14. Right to Amend or Cancel

14.1. eBet reserves the right to amend, suspend, or terminate this Promotion at any time.

14.2. Changes will be published on the eBet website.

14.3. Continued participation constitutes acceptance of amended terms.


15. Governing Law

15.1. These T&Cs are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.

15.2. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of South African courts.
